Dirk Vis (1981) lives and works in Amsterdam. He studied Writing and Design at the Rietveld Academy and at the Sandberg Institute. His works of non-fiction and fiction have been published in Dutch: a limited edition of Bestseller (2009), the ebook The reality-essay (2017) and Hypertekst (from 2010) a zine of which every issue appears with a literary text in a different shape or medium e.g. a chapbook, performance, website, etcetera. Vis is contributing editor for Dutch literary magazine De Gids. He is lecturer at the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague.
